Director of Media planning

We’re seeking a Director of Media to lead media strategy, client relations, planning, and yield management. As a hands-on leader, this role will drive business growth by developing strategic media plans, delivering innovative campaign solutions, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving measurable results in OOH media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute innovative OOH media strategies to drive client success.

  • Oversee media planning, buying, and campaign execution, ensuring seamless delivery and measurable business outcomes.

  • Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance client ROI and optimize media investments.

  • Manage and maintain strong client relationships

  • Ensure a clear value proposition that differentiates MilkMoney from competitors and drives organic growth.

  • Oversee and approve all client-facing pitches and plans, presenting fresh ideas and innovative solutions.

  • Inspire and manage a team of OOH specialists, media planners, and coordinators.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning to elevate team performance.

  • Provide strategic leadership, ensuring professional development and industry expertise across the team.

  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiating favorable terms to maximize value for clients.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams and media vendors to ensure flawless campaign delivery.

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, ensuring alignment with client goals and budget parameters.

  • Use data insights to refine strategies, optimize media investments, and drive award-winning work.

  • Establish success metrics and a strategic roadmap for sustained revenue growth.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years in senior leadership and 6+ years experience at an OOH media buying agency.

  • Must have deep expertise in the entire OOH media landscape and a proven track record of buying media across the top 15 DMAs.

  • Proven ability to set priorities, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions that drive business growth.

  • Track record of developing custom, out-of-the-box ideas that lead to award-winning OOH campaigns and impactful brand storytelling.

  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-growth businesses, identifying competitive opportunities, and optimizing media strategies for maximum impact.

  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms, monitoring performance metrics, and refining strategies for improved campaign effectiveness.

  • Extensive experience managing teams at all levels, fostering collaboration, and driving high-performance cultures.
